Talaash (2012) Review
Talaash, movie starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor in the lead released today. Directed by Reema Kagti and co-written by Zoya Akthar, the movie is being praised for a gripping tale, nuanced performances, brilliancy of revealing the plot and enticing cinematography. However, looking at the response from the audience it suggests the movie may not go too well with all , which is the case with every movie.
Star cast: Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Raj Kumar Yadav, Shernaz Patel.
As the promos of Talaash suggested it’s a story about Aamir Khan’s quest to solve a murder and how his character - police officer Surjan Singh Shekhawat, a troubled father who is fighting demons of his past , mixes his personal and professional worlds. Unlike other thrillers Talaash is high on emotional quotient for the obvious reasons.
