Kumki is an intense love story of an elephant trainer set in a forest. Vikram who plays the role of mahout ( Bomman) in the movie and his trained kumki elephant, guide wild elephants back to the forest to minimize the destruction of properties and fields of nearby villages. Laxmi Menon plays his love interest in the film.
